Official Giveaway Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO WIN. Participation constitutes entrants’ full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules.
Prize: One (1) Tono-Vera® Tonometer with ActiView™ Positioning System
Eligibility: The giveaway is open to 2025 Vision Expo West (VEW) registered Optometrists and Ophthalmologists only. Resident Optometrists, Opticians, Ophthalmic Technicians, Paraoptometrics, Administrative Staff, Guests and Exhibitors are not eligible.
Registration: Contest registrants must visit the Reichert Booth F9037 and request entry into the contest. After the demonstration of any Reichert device, the registrant's badge will be scanned as entry into the drawing.
Delivery of Prize: Allow up to eight (8) weeks for shipment of the prize.
Odds: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Selection of Winners: One (1) winner will be selected at random from the total entries received during Vision Expo West. Winner will be selected on September 24, 2025. The winner agrees to have their photo and/or practice recognized on the Reichert website and social media channels.
Reichert will attempt to notify contest winner by email or telephone via the information scanned from their attendee badge. In the event that the original winner cannot be reached within seven (7) days of initial contact, a second winner will be selected at random.
Responsibility of Winner: All federal, state, provincial, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner, including, without limitation, any applicable VAT.
General Terms and Conditions: All federal, state, and local laws and regulation apply. Value of Tono-Vera Tonometer must be reported under the Sunshine Act.
By entering, each participant agrees to be included in any future email, direct mail, or telephone advertising or promotional activities by Reichert.
Participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, which shall be final. Reichert reserves the right to disqualify any person determined to be in violation of any term contained in these Official Rules. Reichert, agents and representatives of Reichert, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (I) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected incomplete, illegible or unintelligible or unsuccessful efforts to notify or contact winner notices; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, interruptions or difficulties of any kind; (iii) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Reichert that may cause the giveaway to be disrupted or corrupted; (v) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the giveaway to the extent permitted by law including direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages; or (vi) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the giveaway.
By participating in the giveaway, each participant agrees to release and hold Reichert and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives of Reichert, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the giveaway or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation (to the extent permitted by law), personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
